The canton of Zurich has commissioned Hirslanden Group to provide and operate a COVID-19 vaccination centre for the population of the city of Zurich and the district of Dietikon.
This is one of several cantonal vaccination centres where the general population in the canton of Zurich will be vaccinated between April and August 2021. The award was preceded by a public tender for the contract.
The vaccination centre is being built in the Zurich Exhibition Center (Halls 1 and 2) in an ideal location with excellent transport links. It will be ready at the end of February and will have a capacity of up to 4 000 vaccinations per day with its 30 vaccination lanes.
Zurich is the fourth canton to entrust Hirslanden with the provision of a Covid 19 vaccination center. Hirslanden already operates centres in the cantons of Geneva, Thurgau and Zug.
