Executive Management

Dr Daniel Liedtke joined Hirslanden Klinik St. Anna in 2001. He has held various clinical and managerial positions at Hirslanden prior to his appointment as Hospital Manager of Klinik Hirslanden in 2008, and was appointed as Chief Operating Officer of the Hirslanden Group in April 2015. He was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Hirslanden in 2019.

Qualifications: Dr Liedtke is a qualified car electronic engineer (Diploma), Physiotherapist (B.Sc.) and Osteopath (D.O.). He holds a Master of Health Administration as well as a Doctor of Business Administration (Charles Sturt University).

Dr Niowi Näf joined the Klinik Hirslanden in 2014. She has held various positions at Hirslanden prior to her appointment as Head of Corporate Development & Innovation in 2021. She was appointed as Chief Strategy Officer of the Hirslanden Group in July 2022.

Qualifications:

Dr Niowi Näf holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, a Master of Arts in Business Management, as well as a PhD in Business Management (University of St. Gallen, HSG).

Dr Dominique Kuhlen joined the Hirslanden Group in March 2022 as Chief Clinical Officer. Prior to joining the group, she worked at the EOC (Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale) in Lugano, most recently as deputy chief physician and ad interim head of the neurosurgery clinic. Before that she was a senior physician at the Department of Neurosurgery at the University Hospital rechts der Isar (TUM) in Munich.

Qualifiactions: Dr Kuhlen has a doctor in human medicine with a qualification in Neurosurgery. She holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) in General Management. Currently she is completing a Bachelor in Law at FernUni Schweiz. 

Pierre-Antoine Binard joined the Hirslanden Group in September 2018 as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining the group, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Manor, a chain of 63 department stores in Switzerland, and before that was Chief Financial Officer at Carrefour Malaysia and Singapore, a multinational retailer consisting of 26 hypermarkets and 18 shopping malls.

Qualifications: Mr Binard is a Certified Accountant and graduated from the ISG Business School in France.

Stéphan Studer joined Hirslanden Clinique La Colline in 2015 as Hospital Manager. In 2018 Mr Studer has been appointed Regional Operating Officer West and has been Chief Operating Officer West since May 2019. Prior to joining the group, he served as Administrative Director of the Department of Muscoskeletal System and the Department of Clinical Neuroscience at the University Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV).

Qualifications: Mr Studer is a qualified physiotherapist and holds a Master in Social Sciences as well as an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA). He also holds a certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Health Care Administration.

Charl Goosen joined the Hirslanden Group in April 2019 as Chief Information Officer. Prior to joining the group, he worked as the SAP Group General Manager for Mediclinic Group Services. Before that, he was an Associate Director in IT Risk Assurance for PricewaterhouseCoopers South Africa.

Qualifications:

Mr Goosen holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Auditing cum laude from Stellenbosch University as well as a Business Degree and Honours Degree in Accounting from the University of Johannesburg. He furthermore is a registered Chartered Accountant South Africa and a registered Information Systems Auditor.
